We were all concerned about the future of our culture as it was losing its flavor along with its originality & became over saturated with redundancy... The same ol’ same. Brooklyn born artist Stacks Money, began to pursue his career as an artist in 1999. Finally someone has come in & almost messiah-esque fashion to put his entire state on his back & represent true struggle as well as true success.

Stacks Money, an artist whose career began at rocket speed with his first performance ever being at one of the most renowned clubs in Vegas, with the support of legendary Chaka Khan and the blessing of spectators such as once NFL M.V.P. Ray Lewis & rapper Jadakiss. Some train for it & others are born with it, Stacks Money is an MC who does not take his gift lightly. Inspired by The Lox, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Mase & Brooklyn’s Boot Camp Click, Stacks kept his gifts under wraps for a long time developing it.

When he began to surface, a childhood friend knew Karl Kani & about a label situation Kani was working on, passed the word about him. Then it all began. The infamous clothier Kani would call Stacks on a regular just to hear him rhyme on the phone. Karl believed in him, he saw what everyone else saw… Everyone else being; DJ SNS, DJ Premier, Rockwilder & producer Doug Rasheed, whom produced a cast of songs on 2Pac’s “All Eyez on Me” album.

Stacks has been fortunate enough to receive the advice of artist like Outkast & Mase. Things were going great at a time where limo’s & monthly stays in LA; Texas & Atlanta were the norm. He’s also had appearances in magazines such as GQ & The Source. He never let reality escape him. “My approach to music is very versatile, I’m here to bring the fun back to rap, when you listen it makes you wanna press rewind”.

He is now currently working with Brooklyn’s hottest DJ, DJ Boof & one of NYC’s youngest, hottest top party promoters, Ryo Da Crook. Since meeting up with DJ Boof & a cast of other hot DJ’s, Stacks has delivered verses on club bangers such as, Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body” remix, Mike Jones “Drop & Gimme 50”, LiL Wayne’s “Got Money” & is further being recognized for his verse on Soulja Boy’s “Swagg On” which is currently being played in clubs. And also has 7000 hits on YOUTUBE & still counting. Now with his own entertainment company, Money Vault Ent. Stacks is rapidly heading for the big leagues. With his independent video “Money Vault Rock n Roll”, this is also on YOUTUBE & appearing on Brooklyn’s City on Lock mixtape series nothing can stop him! “I’m happy to have people believe in my music like I do. And happy to have encountered certain situations that I feel make me ready for this game. I’m fully developed”. Take a breath of fresh air NY; we’ve got a new voice! Stacks Money, The Next Big Thing.

COOL KIDZ-PENNIES

The Nike Air Flightposite 1 saw plenty of colorways last year including black, gold, and the highly anticipated Eggplant colorway. Yet no one saw these coming, as Nike recently released a Women’s pair. They sport an all black upper along with pink accents. The design is simple, but the strong pink contrasts definitely add another dimension to the shoe.

Max's B's girlfriend, Gina Conway, admitted in a New Jersey court this week that she took part in a fatal robbery with the former Dipset rapper in September 2006.

Max B, along with Conway and his friend Kelvin Leerdam, were charged with murder in 2006 after a botched robbery at a Holiday Inn hotel in Fort Lee, New Jersey ended in the death of 29-year-old David Taylor.

According to NorthJersey, Conway admitted Tuesday (January 13) that after she met Taylor and Allan Plowden in 2006, she revealed to Max B that both men carried alot of cash and drove flashy cars.

She then claimed Max B recruited Leerdam and they hatched a plan to rob Taylor and Plowden.

Max B and Leerdam would confront and duct-tape Plowden in his hotel room on September 22, 2006 and they demanded money from him.  Plowden, who had $30,000 in cash in his room, told Max B and Leerdam that Taylor had the money. Max B and Leerdam then forced Plowden to call Taylor to his room. Taylor would be shot in the head when he got to Plowden’s room.

Conway, who faced life in prison if she was convicted, took a plea deal Tuesday and will face up to 18 years behind bars when she is sentenced in March.

Conway revealed that Leerdam had the gun. Leerdam’s and Max B’s cases are still pending.

Max B, who gained national attention via his affiliation with The Diplomats, is currently signed to Amalgam Digital and is prepping for the release of his debut album.

Following up on our first Nike Air Force 1 Low All Star post- which we have found out are going to be a Tier-Zero release, we take a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low All Star QS. Designed by DJ Clark Kent as well, the QS ASG AF1 Low featues a Black based upper with Orange pebbled leather in the mid panel, Purple pebbled leather in the heel, Yellow contrast stitching, and a Yellow Patent heel tab. The Black/Yellow piped Swoosh sits on the upper and the upper sits on a Black outsole and Yellow Gum outsole. Other details include EAST/WEST lace locks, EAST/WEST footbed hit, and Purple/Yellow braided laces.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low QS All Star Game is set to release at Nike Quickstrike accounts around All Star Weekend.

Though the Air Max 95 has released in hundreds of colorways, the most popular colorways always include the OGs and any new colorway based on the original Grey gradient. Later this year, Nike is set to introduce a new Grey gradient based Air Max 95, the New Green Nike Air Max 95. The New Green Air Max 95 features the classic Grey upper with hits of New Green at the Swoosh, the eyelets and the Visible Air Unit. The colorway is reminiscent of the legendary Pool Nike Air Max 95.

The New Green Nike Air Max 95 is set to release during the Fall of 2009.
